Brazilian Girls with Special Guest Joanna Teters

Grammy-nominated band Brazilian Girls embark on their next evolution: performing eclectic new dance music as a trio while bringing a fresh energy to fan favorites. Guest vocalist Joanna Teters will accompany on select songs.

Internationally celebrated for their global rhythms-meets-electronica hits like “Good Time” and “Don’t Stop,” the band is currently comprised of founding members Jesse Murphy (bass, vocals), Didi Gutman (keyboards, vocals), and Aaron Johnston (drums, percussion, vocals). Their new music expands their repertoire of timeless, irresistible dance hits with a fusion of multicultural soundscapes spanning an eclectic range of genres: you’ll hear elements of cumbia, dub, jazz improvisation, punk, drum-and-bass, lounge, tango, and more.

After decades of making music together, the band members craft a sound that’s recognizably Brazilian Girls, yet free flowing enough to constantly push boundaries, evolving the definition of what that sound should be. It’s free-spirited, yet locked in.
