Community Potluck

Let’s share a meal and good conversation! Bring a dish to share and connect with your community, and enjoy a talk followed by Lauren Kruglinski, the Director of Development with the Cornell Cooperative Extension for Ulster County, followed by a Q&A. We will discuss the overall state of farming in Ulster County and how CCE helps.

Guest Speaker:

Lauren Kruglinski is the Development Director at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ulster County, where she works to build support and resources for programs that strengthen agriculture, environmental stewardship, youth development, nutrition, and community well-being throughout Ulster County. With a background spanning nonprofit development, community engagement, and urban agriculture, Lauren brings a strong commitment to connecting people and resources to create lasting community impact.

Before joining CCE Ulster, Lauren served as Associate Director of Institutional Giving at the Center for American Progress and held leadership and development roles with City Blossoms, a Washington, D.C.-based organization focused on community gardens and urban agriculture. Her experience also includes work in farming and community-based food systems. She holds a master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree from American University.

At CCE Ulster, Lauren helps cultivate the partnerships and philanthropic support that make the organization’s work possible, helping bring research-based knowledge and community-driven programs to individuals, families, farmers, and communities across Ulster County.
