Clay Play Studio with Dianth “Dee” H. Rose
Clay Play Studio is a joyful, hands-on ceramics class for kids 8-12 to explore, imagine, and create with clay. Led by experienced educator and ceramic artist Dee Rose, this class invites young artists to dive into fun, themed clay projects that spark creativity while building real artistic skills.

Community Supported Rate - This lower rate is offered for those who would benefit from financial flexibility. Pay-it-Forward Rate - This rate includes a small contribution that helps make classes more accessible to others in our community. Choosing this option directly supports someone who may not otherwise be able to participate.
Dianth H. Rose
Dianth “Dee” H. Rose is a professional educator and artist with over 32 years of teaching experience, bringing creativity, curiosity, and hands-on learning to every class.
Dee holds a BFA in Ceramics and Art History, a Master of Science in Education, and NYS Permanent Certification (Grades 5–12). Her background includes teaching ceramics, multimedia art, and hands-on art-in-nature adventures, with a strong focus on student-driven, constructivist learning.
Her classes emphasize differentiated instruction and an integrated curriculum, weaving together art, environmental and life sciences, technology, math, and literature. Dee’s warm, engaging teaching style helps young artists build skills, confidence, and a lifelong love of creative expression—one clay project at a time.
