This special program brings together artists and cultural bearers from the Tboli and diverse Indigenous communities of the Philippines. Through movement, fashion, and storytelling, you’ll witness how ancestral traditions continue to thrive and inspire new generations across the globe.
What to Expect:
-Performances of Indigenous dances rooted in ancestral rhythm and breath philosophy (Nawa).
-Showcases of handwoven textiles, clothing, and accessories from Tboli and diverse Indigenous makers.
-Insights into the artistry and symbolism behind dance, weaving, and design.
-A chance to connect with the spirit of community, compassion, and unity embodied in the Tboli ethos Sesotunawa (“the spirit of working together”).
