SEAN SCHENKER
Lead singer and songwriter for the band The Trapps, Sean has been a performing artist for over 3 decades with a resume that has put him alongside folks like Levon Helm, Larry Campbell, Blues Traveler, Big Head Todd & The Monsters, and Rhett Miller, and into the recording studio with famed producer John Keane (REM, Indigo Girls), to name just a few in his storied career.
"A songwriter with raw, stark, honest-to-Hank emotional intensity and musical ability.  Are you kidding me? ONE guy writes these songs? The openness and purity of his songs...just drips out of my speakers like warm Southern Comfort and honey."
- Johnny Black, Music Director, High Plains Public Radio 105.7, Amarillo, TX (Dec 2, 2009)

DEREK SCHENKER

Whether armed with a guitar, piano or sitting behind the throne on a drum kit, Derek is a 15-year-old musician with a passion for musical exploration with structure and sensibility. With a deep appreciation for songcraft, Derek moves effortlessly through accessible electric guitar rock, piano ballads and chorus driven hooks, always looking for the most concise way of delivering his musical messages and identity. Derek has been performing live gigs since he was 10 years old, and he recently released his first full-length album, Ghost Light (available on most streaming platforms). It is a collection of 10-original tracks recorded by Tom Rosato, and additionally recorded, engineered and mixed by Jason Sarubbi, at Split Rock Recording Studio in New Paltz, NY.  Derek wrote all the songs and plays piano, drums, guitars and sings lead vocals on the album.
