Gardiner Residents Invited to Meet Local Candidates October 26 at Full Circle - Sponsored by Gardiner²
What: The community is invited to a Meet theCandidates of Gardiner
Where: Full Circle Gardiner (corner of Bruynswick Rd and Route 44/55)
When: Sunday, October 26, from 3:00–5:00 PM.
Both candidates for Town Supervisor, Michael Hartner and Ryan Wiley, will attend, as will Town Board candidates Roberta Clements, Alex Hogan, and Wolfe Scandinaro.
Each candidate will have approximately ten minutes to address the audience before transitioning to informal conversations with attendees. This open format is designed to maximize face-to-face time between Gardiner residents and those seeking to represent them.
Full Circle is pleased to announce that both The Benton restaurant and the Gardiner Bakehouse will be open for food and beverages during the event, allowing attendees to enjoy local fare while connecting with neighbors and candidates.
“At a time when it sometimes seems easier to disagree with our neighbors than to connect, we want to focus on ideas and events that bring our community together,” said Jack Acree, founder of Gardiner², the event’s sponsor and organizer. “This Meet the Candidates event is the first of many community gatherings we hope to host—and there’s no better place to start than Full Circle.”
Gardiner² is a recently formed, nonpartisan community group founded by Acree, a Gardiner voter and taxpayer since 2004. The organization describes its mission as “Community Multiplied”—to strengthen local connections through dialogue, civic participation, and shared purpose.
