Duo Andalus is a meeting of voice and strings, cultures and soundscapes—featuring both traditional and original compositions rooted in the musical heritage of the Mediterranean Basin and North African coast. Sung in Arabic, Hebrew, and Spanish, the duo’s repertoire is a tapestry of Sephardic, Andalusian, and Middle Eastern influences.

Born to Moroccan-Brazilian Jewish parents, Tamar's haunting vocals are both ancient and fresh—carrying the spirit of her ancestry with a bold, modern soul. Ronen, a master of flamenco and Middle Eastern music and a respected musicologist, weaves oud and guitar into a rhythmic and melodic journey that defies borders.
